My First Documentary Film – A Lesson in the Power of a Dream

Today marks one of the most important days in my career thus far. I am pleased to announce the release of my first short film – a compelling 8-minute documentary on the subject of ‘Youth, Land & the SDGs’.

For the last five years, I have been exploring different ways of communicating ideas and ideals around important subjects in International Development that typically struggle to capture the attention of global audiences. What started as a simple project with the UNDP in July 2012, has come to this, and I am truly excited!

Through this journey, I have found great value in combining filmmaking, storytelling and social media for elevating key messages in International Development, and placing compelling original content at the fingertips of millions.

‘Youth, Land & The SDGs’ was filmed in Naivasha, Kenya, and Albuquerque, USA, and seeks to highlight the issue of youth participation in Land Governance. Today, I invite you to share in this journey with me by viewing this compelling 8-minute film.
