‘Reality Check’ vs Pessimism

There is a huge difference between a “reality-check” and pessimism.

A reality-check is the understanding that as bad as things may seem in your life, that there will always be enough hope, faith, and love to get you through your gloomy days.

Pessimism on the other hand, is that toxic mindset that causes you to attribute your personal turmoil to every conceivable problem in the world around you.

Do not allow the cares of this world to determine your capacity to rise above your personal challenges. Rather, let faith, hope and love infuse every part of your being, and lead you into your destiny.
